Rank Locale provides local search engine optimization (SEO), website design and development, local business advertising management (including Google Ads and Local Services Ads), reputation management, and related digital marketing services. The specific scope, deliverables, and timelines for your project are described in your plan, proposal, or invoice.

2. Payments and Billing

  • All prices are listed and charged in US Dollars (USD).
  • Monthly plans are billed in advance at the start of each billing cycle and renew automatically each month until cancelled.
  • One-time projects, such as website builds, are billed as stated in your proposal or invoice.
  • Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card details.
  • If a payment fails or is overdue, we may pause work until the balance is paid.
  • Advertising budgets paid to Google, Meta, or other platforms are separate from our management fees and are paid directly to those platforms unless otherwise agreed.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Monthly plans have no long-term contract and can be cancelled at any time with notice before your next billing date. Full details on cancellations and refunds are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

4. Client Responsibilities

To allow us to deliver our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate business information and timely access to the accounts we need, such as your website, Google Business Profile, analytics, and advertising accounts
  • Review and approve work, content, and campaigns within a reasonable time
  • Ensure that any content, images, or materials you provide do not infringe the rights of others
  • Comply with the policies of Google, Meta, and any other platforms used for your marketing

Delays in providing access, information, or approvals may affect timelines and results.

5. Results and Performance Disclaimer

Search engine rankings and advertising performance depend on factors outside our control, including search engine algorithm changes, competitor activity, and platform policies. While we use proven strategies and best practices, we do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic levels, leads, or revenue. Any figures or case studies on our website reflect past client results and are not a promise of future performance.

6. Third-Party Platforms

Our services rely on third-party platforms such as Google, Meta, website hosting providers, and software tools. We are not responsible for changes, outages, account suspensions, or policy decisions made by these platforms. Where possible, we will help you resolve such issues.

7. Ownership of Work

  • Websites and content: Once paid in full, you own the website, written content, and design assets we create specifically for you.
  • Your accounts: You retain ownership of your Google Business Profile, advertising accounts, domain, and data at all times.
  • Our tools and methods: We retain ownership of our internal tools, templates, processes, and know-how.
  • Portfolio use: Unless you ask us not to, we may reference your business and the work we completed in our portfolio and case studies.

8. Website Content and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on ranklocale.com, including text, graphics, logos, and case studies, is owned by Rank Locale LLC or its licensors. You may view it for personal and business reference, but you must not republish, sell, copy, or redistribute it without our written permission.

9. Website Use and Submissions

When you submit information through our forms, you confirm that it is accurate and that you have the right to share it. We may disregard any submission that is inappropriate, abusive, or a security risk. How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

10. Confidentiality

We treat your account logins, business data, and non-public information as confidential and use them only to provide our services. We will not share them with anyone except as needed to deliver your services or as required by law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rank Locale LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of data. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Rank Locale LLC harmless from any claims arising from content or materials you provide, your products or services, or your breach of these Terms or of any third-party platform's policies.
